Academic theses will be edited according to the Institute of Professional Editors’ Guidelines for editing research theses.

Work will be checked for English spelling, punctuation, appropriate syntax, consistency and typographical errors. Scientific manuscripts will be checked for correct usage of scientific terminology and agreement between figures, figure legends, abstract and the main body of text. Formatting will be according to specific journal guidelines. Track changes in Word are used.

Science documents will be edited to a native English standard, using either American or UK English.

Works from those with English as a second language are particularly welcome. Please note that the Australian east coast time zone is similar to that of east Asia, including Japan (+1 h), China (+2 h), Taiwan (+2 h), and South Korea (+1 h) allowing prompt communication.
